Overview

NG-HOST.com was a full-service online gaming platform and hosting company founded and operated by Brandon Bouchey. The company supported over 20 competitive gaming teams worldwide and offered comprehensive services including game server hosting, web development, team branding, competitive tournament coordination, domain management, and voice communication infrastructure.

Role & Responsibilities

• Founder & Operator – Launched and managed all operations of NG-HOST.com, overseeing business development, client support, and infrastructure.
• Server Infrastructure – Deployed and maintained dedicated multiplayer game servers with custom configurations for games such as Soldier of Fortune II: GOLD and Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
• Branding & Design – Designed custom logos, forums, and digital assets for hosted teams and clans.
• Website Development – Delivered custom XHTML/CSS websites with integrated PHPBB forums, shoutboxes, server monitors, and optional Flash elements.
• Tournament Director – Organized and facilitated community championships, scrimmages, and ladders. Managed registration, rulesets, match reporting, and rankings.
• Voice Communication Setup – Managed a dedicated TeamSpeak 2 server for global team communication and event coordination.
• Domain Management – Procured and managed domains for NG-HOST and client teams, ensuring DNS setup, renewals, and hosting integration.
• Financial Oversight – Designed tiered hosting plans, handled payment processing through PayPal, and managed operational budgeting and donations.
